This webinar will address the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic for dentistry at this difficult time and help dental professionals, whether experienced or newly qualified, to plan for the future.
It is presented by Peter Briggs and Sana Movahedi, who are both well-known experienced dental practitioners currently involved with quality managing training and education across London and Kent, Surrey and Sussex (LKSS) for Health Education England
Objectives
Topics covered will include:
Implications of COVID-19 on all of us in the dental profession at present and in the future;
Dental workforce contributions to the NHS COVID-19 response;
Impact from COVID-19 on current working and training and education;
Future impact on the use and attitude of remote/on-line technology for patient interactions, team meetings, peer review, education and training;
How dentistry might get back to normal with associated challenges and opportunities;
Awareness of those currently experiencing disrupted training.
Outcomes
